MTA NSW NEW TRAINING FACILITY
The MTA NSW has completed the refurbishment of its MyTradeStart facility in Auburn, NSW, which includes workshops designed to mirror real-world automotive workplaces and a dedicated EV training facility.
The extensive refurbishment of MyTradeStart includes modern spaces that emulate the workshop environment, ensuring students can seamlessly transition from training to the workplace. Reflecting the rapidly changing demands of the automotive sector, MTA NSW will also offer its electric vehicle (EV) training in a new dedicated EV training hub, ensuring apprentices gain the future-focused skills necessary for a successful career.
In addition to refurbishments, MTA NSW has implemented its renowned training standards across all courses, offering apprentices the opportunity to learn from expert trainers who bring industry-leading knowledge and passion into the training experience.
MyTradeStart offers six accredited courses, including certificates in Automotive Refinishing Technology, Automotive Body Repair Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Automotive Electrical Technology, and Automotive Air Conditioning Technology.
The registered training organisation is focused on meeting the diverse needs of apprentices, employers, and the wider automotive industry, focusing on practical, career-focused learning that can be immediately applied in the workplace.
With smaller class sizes, students also benefit from personalised mentorship and one-on-one time with trainers, fostering a collaborative learning environment where they can build valuable connections with their peers and industry leaders. Financial support options are also available, making high-quality training more accessible to aspiring automotive professionals.
